Coffee Cakes & Kuglof

Did you know that we at Caffe Amadeus bake our own pastries?  Yep, we do!  We bake pastries from the from the lands of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.  Pastries so different, unlike any you've ever had before! 

Many of you have enjoyed, (and many more are doing so even today!), our ever-popular coffee cakes.  We invite you to discover our repertoire of taste-tempting recipes from a land and time long ago! 

You can enjoy them in your beautiful coffeehouse or order ahead for that special event in your home!  We are happy to bake for you!  Please order ahead.  We require a deposit of half-down for special orders.  Thank you!

Coffee Cake!!! 

Already Indiana-famous, the coffee cake is light and refreshing as it is lightly sweetened and filled with fruit!  We offer many different types of fruit such as blueberry, mixed berry, strawberry, mandarin orange, peach, pear, cherry, and so much more!  We also offer this cake with nuts, at your desire!  Many combinations are available!

Loaf Kuglof! 

 

 

The Hungarian kuglof is pronounced, "koog-loaf" and is known to Americans as the pound cake.  Like the coffee cake, this delicious cake can be made with all kinds of fruit and nut combinations.  We offer here pictures of some different options available.  Above is the loaf variety.  See below for more!!!

Marble Kuglof 

A perfect marriage of white and chocolate cake batter!

Walnut Crown Kuglof 

Also known as a "Babka", this hearty cake is filled with walnuts and topped with a sweet fandant "crown".
